DELTA WATERS: ARTISTS ADDRESSING THE SAN JOAQUIN DELTA

Eight site-specific artworks addressing human impacts on the Delta region, its beauty and the preservation of this highly impinged natural resource, the largest estuary on the Pacific Coast in California.

BiodiverCITY for The 5 x 5 Project, Washington D.C. 

March through August 2012 

5 x 5 included twenty-five groundbreaking public art installations throughout the District of Columbia. ecoartspace presented 5 artists at 5 public sites inviting environmental artists to create site works in and around our nation's capitol city addressing humans relationship to the natural world.

Group exhibition of 30 artists who explore the aesthetics and politics of water, including water consumption, quality, scarcity, pollution, and reclamation.

Interviews with Buster Simpson, Susan Liebovitz Steinman, Bonnie Sherk and Besty Damon. Since 2009 ecoartspace has taped thirteen - 2 hour interviews with important visual artists who are addressing environmental issues.

GETTING OFF THE PLANET
SITE RESIDENCY PROJECT, NEW MEXICO (2012-2013)

First site installation at the IAIA Digital Dome included a video work for multi year series of site-based residencies exploring the cosmos throughout the state of New Mexico, a unique project curated in collaboration with the Santa Fe Art Institute.
